Step-1:  Let’s start with the first stage of How to make a piston. Collect the piston’s assets. The following elements are required:

  • 12 cobblestone blocks – Use a wooden pickaxe or higher to mine grey cobblestone blocks.
  • 1 iron ore – Use a stone pickaxe or higher to mine an iron block. Iron blocks with orange speckles are commonly seen among cobblestone.
  • 2 woodblocks – Chop two wood blocks beneath a tree.
  • 1 Redstone – Use an iron pickaxe or above to mine a Redstone block. Redstone is made up of red-speckled blocks that are most typically found underground.
  • 1 slime ball (optional) – Kill a Slime enemy to earn a slime ball, which can be used to make a sticky piston that can both push and pull blocks.

Step-2: Make wooden planks. By holding down Shift and clicking your stack of wooden blocks, clicking a box in the “Crafting” area, and then moving the stack of planks to your inventory, press the E key.

  • Tap … in the bottom-right corner of the screen, then tap the crafting table icon in the lower-left corner, tap the “Wood Planks” icon, and then tap 4 x twice on the right side of the screen in Minecraft PE.

Step-10: Create a piston for yourself. Place a wood plank box in each of the squares at the top of the crafting table grid, the iron bar in the middle square, the Redstone in the space beneath the iron, and cobblestone in the remaining squares. Your piston will be created as a result of this.
